Marine Field Operations
CSA International
has an extensive track record conducting field operations
for scientific data gathering. CSA International provides biological,
geological, chemical, and physical oceanographic services
for baseline and monitoring field surveys, including
photodocumentation (underwater video and still camera),
side-scan sonar, subbottom profiling, vibracoring, and
bathymetric studies. Multidisciplinary data in marine
and estuarine environments have been collected throughout
the United States and at many international locations
using conventional and state-of-the-art equipment and
techniques. CSA's equipment, operational and scientific
personnel, and quality assurance/quality control plans
ensure the collection of quality data. Marine field
surveys frequently involve the integrated use of various
individual operations combined in a manner appropriate
to the overall data requirements for a specific project.
CSA personnel have developed efficient techniques to
analyze the collected data and display the results with
easy-to-interpret maps and other forms of data presentations.
CSA provides clients with survey data in a variety of
digital data formats including ArcInfo/ArcView Geographic
Information System (GIS) coverages.
